I know these are the same brand as the others but i think they look good

and rota shakotans would be different

These choices are definitely not under 350 but just trying to be helpful. And it is always a good idea to check craigslist for wheels in your bolt pattern because for all you know, you may find a decent set of wheels, or even score some RSs from a guy who has no idea how much they are worth. I found my style 5s on craigslist and even though 575 was an okay price on both ends considering the condition they were in, i am lucky enough to have multi piece BBSs as my first non-stock wheels. But if you have to go for reps, there is gonna be a lot of ****, but just remember they are most likely full grown adults with real jobs unlike us (i'm 16 btw )

DIY splatter on those wheels? Not gonna lie, my first thought was that you might've pulled them out from under a bird's nest .. or two :|

Definitely wouldn't look quite right on an 80s car but should be a slight improvement until you can get something else

Well considering these things have the same bolt pattern as older VWs and the body style of this thing resembles a golf in a way, i would suggest looking at a bunch of MK2 golfs since they are a more common platform. That being said, i would really like to see this thing on some Borbet As, i don't know what your price range is but i have always had a thing for these wheels

And I have no idea what wheels to put on this.. I'm confused.

If you have suggestions go ahead and let me know them lol

Have you considered using period correct japanese wheels on this thing? I agree with 244, some equips would do this thing some real justice!

L body Dodge charger rear struts with mk1 Rabbit ground control adjustable coil overs will net you as much drop as you can handle. I had to turn mine up since they literally will sit the car on it's bump stops if you want em too.

Since if you buy the mk1 coil overs you'll get he front sleeves too, you can adapt em to your neon struts with a little bit of flange grinding. That's the route i took anyway. You can see the build of it in my thread.. pretty sure i posted pics of the process.

    Good luck. Keep it up!

Yes using the stock 1st gen neon struts and springs lowered it maybe 1.5"-2"
I plan adding more speakers in the car. It sucks only having 4.25" speakers in the front. but the whole cargo cover thing was an idea lol. Going to look for spots to install tweeters that wont fuck up the look of the interior, although it kinda torn apart right now lol.
Today I'm going to start going threw things and ideas.
For my rear I've read that mitsubishi mirage shocks might fit. I'm going to read more on making those fit.
