  • Another old rusty ford brought back to life.

So i've been floating around these forum's for a while now and thought i might as well get my car on here to give me motivation to actually work on it..
Right, I'm 15 and from the very North of Scotland. Literally the very top. You go any further, you fall off.
    I have a 1970 Series 1 Mk2 Cortina 1600e in need of a big restoration.
So... We pulled it put of the field after sitting in my uncle's friends farm and thats where the journey starts.

Considering it's been lying in a half open building for 30 years, it's not too bad.

So after it was pulled out, i had to make some form of way to transport it rather than using a trailer because the trailer was not ours.. So I made this -

The car was then taken to a friend's garage to use his sandblaster. So I sandblasted the whole thing and slapped some primer on there.

So we took it back and put all the doors, bonnet (or hood ) and boot lid (or trunk ) and lined it all up before we start cutting all the shit out and replacing a lot.

                    Great work thus far!

Looks like you have the skills to make this a car again. In ford updates (see what I did thar?)
