Sport Seats
So this is just a little comparison of one finished seat and the seat we got from the junkyard. They smelled like straight cat piss and homeless people.
Other than that, just waiting on carpet. If any of you haven't already noticed, I'm quite new to stanceworks, posting wise, and if I am doing something wrong please give me some tips. I will be happy to answer questions as well. Thanks everybody.Last edited by Little Red; 01-11-2015, 10:57 PM.

update
Now up to date.
The dad is a seamstress and knows a thing or two with a needle which has resulted in a mass reupholster session. Got some OEM gti fabric and some vinyl and have been going to town. We have done all the seats and the headliner, but we're waiting on carpet to arrive so we can put it all in. Here's a little teaser of what's to come.

Update
So this was the day after I picked up the car. When I first got it, it was so oxidized you couldn't tell it was red. Solved that problem with a good buff and shine and this shiz turned out bomb. This was pre doing the trim. Ill source some more pictures from 3 years ago to keep the updates flowing
We ended up going to bimmerfest in LA that year just to scan the scene and it was a blast. Heres us at a rest stop to get food and what have you. Let us remember this was 3 years ago when I could not legally drive and looked 12. I'm a grown ass man now.
Since those days, a fair amount of work has been done. I got sick of the slushbox transmission and after a dozen trips to pick n pull and hundreds of synchro measurements later, we swapped in a getrag 260. We also put on some bilsteins/H&R's, bushings, joints, camber correction, new dash, 3.73 LSD with new clutches, tried a few different chips out, failed smog due to a busted cat, passed smog 300 bucks later, rebuilt steering rack, new brakes and a whole butt ton more I don't feel like listing.
But I am not here to talk needlessly about previous work, rather to show you a journey I am treading.Last edited by Little Red; 01-11-2015, 11:00 PM.

A build of maximal fun with minimal fund.
So I've got an 89 e30. I am in highschool for a couple more months and then on to college. Given this, my growth will be slow. Father and I have been working on this vehicle for a good 3 years now. Will post pictures in a little. Welcome those with hope.
