Some of you may have seen my other threads and know that they often take a while. Chances are this one is no different, but here's hoping. Anyway a family friends have had this E30 318i since almost new. It had a leaky power steering rack and was leaking on their driveway, which is brand new, very nice and probably worth more than all my cars combined. So they said that if i towed it up the road, then started it and drove it away, i could have it for the cost of the transfer papers. I did exactly that. The car works perfect provided you don't mind topping up the reservoir now and then. I don't have any pics of the entire car currently but you all know what a 2dr white bone stock e30 looks like.
Anyway the radio worked but the security code was lost and i couldn't be bothered, so i went out and spent $130 on a new head unit, followed by another $50 on new speakers after the rears were found to be in terrible shape.
After some measuring i found that some cheap pioneers fit on perfectly with some trimming

A bench grinder took 2 secs to take a bit of the surround off to make it fit nicely

Next job was to fix the leaky steering rack. I found a guy selling a second hand good rack for $100. He actually gave me 2; one for 4, and one for 6 cyl. so now i have a spare for dads E30. High pressure hose brought it up nice and clean, and new crush washers were used for the banjo's. Knocked it off in a morning. Was very strait forward. Had an alignment done and she runs perfect now.

this was the third separator i bought. The first two snapped :/

These banjo's were a bit fiddly but came out eventually

Also got a new windscreen because i got a small crack in the current one.
Put the first sticker on it, and currently trying to fit my E21 BBS' on the front but with 8mm spacer they still hit the caliper.

Will get more pics tomorrow and edit. Also have lots of E21 parts. Free to good homes including euro bumpers. Just pay shipping
