  • Project Lowbrow - BMW E36 Coupe carbon fiber overfenders

At first… we are enthusiasts madly driven by a “raw” customizing attitude and love the race style and everything that comes with it… especially carbon fiber. Located in Germany unfortunately we’re bound by a lot of regulations what makes customizing a little bit “uncomfortable”. So we’re not allowed to go crazy as hell, but we will try our very best ;-)

    The beginning:

We wanted to build something unusual (for german circumstances) and asked the masses on Bavarian Static (BMW Fan-Page a friend of us set up) to give us some hints what style should be legal for our law-suffering car scene. The answer was short and precise… BMW E36 OVERFENDERS!!!

A few phone calls later a meanwhile good friend of us was ready to provide his ’94 E36 Coupe to go crazy with.

After 6 meeting hours of planning (lots of cigarettes and energy drinks were involved) we decided to bring the car ASAP to our workshop located in northern Bavaria.

View days later the Lowbrow arrived with some unusual “modifications” we will show you later on

and the whiteboard assured that there will be a lot of work to do

From now on we will share our frequently updated Facebook-Footage in your awesome forum (maybe delayed sometimes) with all of its talented builders giving us much inspiration.

After a day of modelling we made the mold for the GT front lip.The prototype made from carbon fiber luckily fitted perfect on the first try.
