  • operation sill dragger.

my names matt. i bought a minivan 2 years ago and i like to use my ability to cut metal to make my car as low as i can get it.

started out with coils. then after realising i was never gunna get it sitting how i wanted without my gearbox and subframe on the floor. i started butchering it.

first the engine and gearbox got raised and then after a while i dropped the subframe and reduced the points at which it meets the body by 10mm, so that it sits up more. recently i lowered the struts within the hub...stuff by 3/4" and went from 19mm to 30mm engine spacers.

now needs a notch which i hope to do this afternoon. well it wont get welded up til the weekend but i need to be able to drive it.

i guess the aim for me is to get it sat 'aircooled'. haha. i wanna spark on smooth ass roads.

Do you happen to have pics of the motor mount spacers installed? I've always been curious to see those in action.

heres a pic i just took of the gearbox side. i had to reduce em in thickness by like 6mm because my box was pulled against the rail. tried driving it and the entire car shook like hell.
