Before, the number plate was as "1234 AB 56" (with the last two numbers that are one of France regions). But since a few years there's been a new law and number plate are as: "AB-123-CD" with a white and blue plate. Some exceptions are made for classic cars that have the right to have black plates.

I swear these mk1 'rocco's usually suffer from rust really bad, your's looks really clean though! Great work so far, its sitting really nice

It was painted by the previous owner (not very well). But there is anyway in very good condition and has been preserved from rust.
