      Update!

Well I had some free time over the weekend and I wanted to do something to the car. I decided to build an air duct that utilize the air coming in through the intake scoops. Pretty simple. I tried to angle the ducts so that they direct the air to the vents in the hood in hopes that it could help push warm air out of the engine compartment. Not sure how functional this is but its been a nice project so far and I think it looks better with it. haha

Anyway here's some picturs of the process so far.

question for you guys.. Raw metal? or Carbon fiber?

      measure once cut twice!

      mock up....cardboard

metal! I dont have the right equipment for metal bending... so I use steal bar and origami techniques haha

      Bend!

phew! just need to weld up the flaps. and the tops done.

      test fit. Looks cool!

again... Leave it raw? or Carbon fiber? (i'm gonna skin the front side of the inlet cover in carbon also.)

      Thanks gang!

Paint it the same blue as the VF cover, or do it wrinkle black so it blends in. I think carbon would be ghey

I'd color match it but I dont have any more of that paint.. It would be off for sure. I was thinking if I went the carbon way, i'd try a matte finish. But you can never go wrong with wrinkle black.

I like the way you managed to tune your beautiful car. How many horses does your car have under the bonnet now? Keep up the good work mate. :-)

Went with Wrinkle black for now. Once I get some free time I'll skin it in Carbon. I'll probably go with a matte finish on the carbon also, so that it stands out a little more.

Thank you! I havent dyno'd the car yet but I'm hoping to get around 590ish to the wheels. Once the Nitrous is finished I'm looking be around 650 at the rubber.
