will you restore all the parts or do you leave it up to the customer how they want them? Some may want a bit of age on them. All though doubtful in the RR community; so just disregard my comment. lol

awesome work. I definitely envisioned this pouring out coal but a v12 would also be pretty sick.

So people are calling about parts on the RR faster than I can get them off the car. Since I'm trying to use the disassembly of this car as a benchmark for a phantom restoration in the future I'm going to document the parts I restore before selling and share some of my newfound knowledge of the amazing engineering that went into these motor cars.

Here's the Carburetter to start (yes thats how they spell it), this is the before picture, although I had already cleaned off a lot of the grime when I took this. Its considered a 'late model' version referred to as a 'cats back' style that started being fitted in 1934. I hope to polish it to a mirror finish before selling.

Another option, keeping it euro. Scania V8 diesel maybe? Never heard anyone ever use one of those in a car before so it could be a cool build.

I've debated it so many times. I've just always wanted an open wheel hot rod, and a unique one at that (hence why I went rolls royce). I'll still have to give it some thought though. I'll probably be keeping them either way

I've since found a couple more in the teens to twenties range in about the same condition if you're interested

In all seriousness though, I have to fend off barn finds like this every day. If I had a truck and trailer I'd have a whole warehouse full of stuff like this by now.

I think even if the engine does fit, you should take the bonnet sides off regardless. I don't see how you could have a sexy v12 and not show it off all the time
