Made the car drivable, still rubs with the winter tyres, but only when full lock. Tried the 8" RF's on the front to see if it rubs, it still does, however a lot less than before. I also got new fenders for the next season, so I can properly roll and pull them and maybe even add fender spacers if needed and if that doesn't help either, I'm going thicker spring pads.

My 1" BBS front lips are for sale, price is 175€ (190$), if anyone is interested, PM me.

A few people still wonder how W124/W201 Benzes are lowered. I included a picture of the E36 coilover shock and W201 original shock comparison and a comparison of a stock spring and my spring what I ran during this year. The new springs are about 0.5 coils longer. I'm gonna post a picture of the stock rear setup soon, I just need to get new shocks and maybe new springs.

Haven't posted for a while, not much has changed. Skid plate got installed after the last post, changed the oil. Removed the bumper to freshen it up a bit, also shaved the bumper trim for a US sized plate. Hopefully getting new lips for the front, new shocks for rear and tyres. Also the hood and new fenders will get a new paint. New fenders will get properly rolled and also adding fender spacers to prevent any rubbing this season.

Anyone with a W201/W124 could help me out, which shocks for the rear would be the best? Saab 900, Ta Technix or anything else?

Honestly if you're trying to go for fitment in the back and not a super nice ride, just get the ranger shocks from Rock Auto, I can message you the link, 30$ for both and they bolt directly up. Just run super stiff springs in the back, I'm getting it all sorted out tonight and will let you know what happens.

            What's wrong with imgur ?

Anyway I'm from Europe and I can't buy Ranger shocks here for that good money. I have to daily it so I'm not going for anything that extreme really. In the front the OEM springs did a great job with E36 shocks imo and with OEM shocks in the rear with cut springs seems pretty decent, if the shock was a bit shorter and stiffer it would be even better. Not planning to run camber arms yet this year though.

New lips. They're 2" making my setup for this season 17x9 F and 17x10 R

On the last picture it doesn't seem much difference, but the bolt circle on the 2" lip is on the floor, but on the 1" lip the bolt circle isn't even touching the floor, so when bolted it'll be a bigger difference.

Installed new shocks to the rear yesterday, they are TA Technix. Around 30mm shorter and stiffer than OEM. Ordered new tires for the front, 205/40 Nankang NS2. Also welded the plastic on the bumper strip to make the number plate area fit to US size. Looks pretty good, but needs more work to look better. Sent my lips to get refurbished by a friend, should get them next week and hopefully mounting the wheels next weekend.

Tyres on. Rear tyres and specs the same, fronts are now 17x9 205/40
Going to testfit and roll and space the fenders this weekend hopefully. Also bought fender spacers, Audi Coupe swaybar and powerflex ones, got them for so cheap so why not.

Rolled the fenders today, still have a problem with the fender corner near the bumper. With fender spacers it clears out, but it still needs to be worked on. I think I'm going to buy thicker spring pads to raise the car a bit and maybe cut the corner a bit. Any W124/201 owners know how to handle the fender problem though?

Maybe try running 195/40 in the front
