That testfit is really promising. Looking forward to seeing them on the car.

One of the previous owners thought it would be a good idea to put screws in them, because it's still winter I will get them fixed during April/May, really disturbs me as well

Haven't had much time to take care of the car lately, lacquer coat is off from 2 lips, 2 still to do. Centers cleaned and ready for paint.
Also I need some advice about 124/201 suspension. If I get a set of E36compact/Z3 coilovers, I should be able to use the front and rear shocks (the rear shocks should fit and are shorter than E36 sedan and stock W201 shocks?). Then another question is how can I use the springs, or I can't use the springs at all?

Made a wheel lip polishing machine after I understood doing it manually is just painful. Took me less than an hour. Electrical motor, added a plywood base to mount the lip and that's pretty much it. The wooden structure itself is quite old, however added some random planks to make it more stiff. Tried it out, work perfectly, not much wobble and should get the lips polished quite fast. Doesn't look that good, but it's practical and works perfectly. Might make a better base to it and make it look more professional. Pictures and a video.
