Welp, new car means new thread.

just picked up a 1990 Jetta GL Coupe yesterday. Not too sure what the plans are right now. Havent owned a vw in a while. haha. But, after both of my last ef's blew up on me, I figured it was time to switch it up a bit.

    here is my last car:

    aaaaaaaaaaand, my new car:

and, these will be the wheels going on it, for now. stole them off my civic.
15x8.5 +17 avid av19's w/165/45/15 tires. should look good when its lowered.

im sure this thread will move slower then my civic thread. haha. ill keep you guys updated though! =]

Another car! lol, lets hope you keep this one for a while . Wheels looks sooooooo small on the big(ger) bodied jetta. Are you swapping this or keeping the drive train stock?

I feel that the look so small, because they are black, and the car is black. I dunno. haha.

currently, it is an 8v, with digi. which is nice, because if it were an 89, it would have had cis, and that shit sucks to work on.

I would like to do a 16v swap, and get a little more power, but nothing crazy. I really like how clean this car is. its all original. ill try and get some interior pictures and stuff this weekend.

Hell yeah dude. I'd keep it all original and just breath life back into it with oem + stuff. Would be sick imo

Since it is such a nice example of a mk2 jetta, I can't be mad about getting away from the civics. This is going to be great

More low, yes. Not more tire. I did that stretch for a reason. 👍

Body and paint seem to be in pretty good shape for the most part, wheels should look good when that gap is gone haha.
