I have to say I really liked this build, but most of all your attitude! I like that this is your build and that you build it the way you want to, regardless of what others say! :-D

I have actually bought wheels already, they are 19's, and they are DPE, but that is all I am saying for now, gotta keep you guys on the edge of your seats...the offsets are nutty i'll say that much

also i have a very, very big update... lets just say that its the most taboo mod in the E36 comunity, and has led to maiming the appearance of E36's time and time again...this should be fun

for now just enjoy more carbon goodies in an early testfit of canards...

oh and to make myself perfectly clear: I will never claim this to be a legitament performance aerodynamic modification, I bought these 100% without a doubt for looks and looks only. I realize many of you dislike seeing them on "street" cars but i love the look of them so try and keep an open mind, because i like them enough to say they won't be coming off anytime soon

i guess another update, i have been using my actual camera to document the build as of recently, so expect to start seeing less of the cellphone pics

Awesome build dude i'm amazed by the effort and time you have put into it. Some people who have posted in this thread are either very stupid or have nothing positive to say about anything. Looking foward to some updates.

Just read through the entire thread, and you sir definitely have a great attitude towards everything. I've never quite figured out if I like wide body E36s or not, but i'm excited to see what the final outcome looks like. This is definitely not the usual E36 build thread you find everywhere else. Keep up the hard work

Yeah the hood wasn't shutting all the way because I need to fab some custom mounts for the hoodpins, right now their not pushing down the hood far enough.

As far as wheels go, I shipped those wheels on there right now off to welcraft to get widened to 18x10 and 18x13 with 3.5 and 6.5 inch lips respectively, but after about a week I got a call back that the safety bead was too close to the lip to widen it, they would've been painted like a pearl grey, so needless to say not sure what to do now I'm prob gonna go ccw but I was hoping you guys could throw some ideas out there....I'd like to stay 18"
