  • E28 - Project Getting Out of Hand

So I decided that instead of bumping the thread in the showroom it would be better to get a build thread put up!

    Continuing on from here: http://www.stanceworks.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=39323

Since I got the car I always wanted to go a bit further with it, get it painted, bagged etc. Currently thats happening!

    Some before pictures:

First thing I did to the car was buy a M5 front splitter new from BMW:

Then radinox dishes for the Schnitzers, yes 18s are probably a bit big but we'll make them work

So, yea they stick out a bit next thing, m-tech arch extensions.

    Next up, Airlift system:

And a little interior treat too:

At this point the plan was to paint the car the original body colour and bag it with the arches and wheels. This was because the engine bay and all shuts were that colour......But that would be too sensible.

Thankfully it is a good shell, but a few bits weren't as I'd like them to be so I also have new front wings as well as a new tail panel. The engine is now out and the bay is to be smoothed, however thats on hold at the minute until an engine is decided upon

As for body colour, it definitely won't be factory, but still nice and subtle/classy. I have a hell of a lot of work in front of me especially as the weather has started to get crap here and despite having plenty of garages at home the car has to be worked on outside as they're full with other projects I'm aiming for a May/June finishing time next year but fully expect this to go over schedule
