Back To The Start: E28 Shenaigans

annnnd so the next thing to do was install the new dash .... did it in 2hours . People who take longer than that must be stupid , drunk , a caveman and blind . Its easy


Decided to get a detail at work ... took all my trim off and everything . guess what ... they couldn't get it in the stall . so I did it myself . Not sure why I haven't before , I used to detail cars . anyways , it looks so much better now.





finished up that night and went to a show the next day.

And that's about it for now , I will go out and get some really good pro pics taken soon . I've been saving $ for some surprises this fall . So far I'm just enjoying the car.

So I decided to hunker down and finish .

and by that I mean not work on my own car ...
My brothers SL on Futuras , I will have more of that once I get them .



Woke up the next day and finished my car with a major hang over







yes this is my fat ass


Put it all together and went for a drive ... took me 10 min to get out of the driveway. heard a horrid noise every time I hit the brakes. naturally I did a couple F1 stops to make it go away . Ended up being a shim on the wrong side....

Brother stopped by in the Cocaine Cruiser .

Hood bra came in


and that's when I got to work on the Wheels




took a break and put my new driver door on . Old one was rusty as hell for some reason .


finished that and got back to work on the wheels .



a.d.d kicked in AGAIN and I Decided to throw a new s.i board in so that my coolant gauge would work .

Then my Coils came in ... and I realized that I still hadn't finished my wheels .


So I finished the wheels. Again ... yes I have major A.d.d



Then it kicked in again and instead of staying home during the weekend and actually doing work , I went to a car show.


Came home and Monday I got my tires installed. 195/50 on a 16x10

well I may as well update the thread .
First starting from where I left off. Interior...
I chose tweed because I like the look and has a cool vintage feel .

oh and if your doing fabric and need a good adhesive... get the good stuff








Shortly after that I was pulled over for going UP A HILL IN THE RAIN AND BREAKING TRACTION... Needless to say a warning turned into a 700$ ticket because he tried harassing me about driving my car in the rain with collector plates . I told him there's no law that says I cant drive it in any sort of weather just not as a Daily. Anyways , he tried to flat bed the car , didn't work out . called my lawyer and its been dismissed. I wish cops these days would be a little nicer . Im almost 30 , im not some kid in a 240 drifting ( no offence to any 240 kids )


Bought a e12 euro mirror delete. I love it and **** it . Its a huge pain in the ass to parallel park and not curb my wheels .


Also did a rear fog that I bought from a buddy in the UK

Well.. since I am really lazy and I'm far too lazy to post anything major right now , I will post a sneak peak . Car is on proper suspension , proper wheels , proper tires , proper a lot of things.
