A side exit would be pretty sweet. I'm thinking about putting some curved blast pipes on the charger just cuz

You could probably pull it off XD

I may see if i can't use my buddies garage and tools and just take the rest of the exhaust off, and try to test fit the muffler before i go to work, but i have go to Fast 7 in the morning, so that may not happen.

Well, i figured it's been a while, and i might as well double post. Yesterday a buddy was feelin' like gettin' some shots of his car, and i was doin' the same with the Ex, so he rolled up, and somehow didn't get stuck. For an HTC with a cracked lens i don't think the shots turned out too bad.

          And with his Z

Hoping to have enough time and money this week to get my splitter/spoiler mounted, get the major rust fixed, and maybe get it gutted so i can align the body this, or next month so i can lower it it's final drop before a frame notch.

This is coming along nicely, a tad lower, like your rendering, and It'll look badass. As for air shocks, if your just using them for emergency lift, I'd recommend a dual shock setup to run a lowered gas shocks in parallel with the air shocks, but you'll have to leave atleast 20 psi in the air shocks at all time and then when you need the extra stiffness pump up the pressure then lower it back down when your done.

A buddy and i got the body centered and the interior back in two weeks ago, so it's ready for lows and fender/quarter panel rolling/pulling. It just needs upper and lower ball joints and it'll be ready for another inch-inch and a half drop! After that i'll drop the cash for front drop shocks. As for the rear i'll probably just run air shocks since they're cheap enough. I really wanted to get a set of adjustable gas shocks but my budget is too limited to drop $110 a shock.

I might run a dual shock if i can get into the auto-cross game, or if i take a trailer to ICC, but right now they told me no, and i haven't found a Ranger box trailer yet.
Oh, and i got my splitter installed a while back, I'll edit the post with a picture when i get home.

Thanks man! And that was kind of the point in doing it, and with all my effort to keep the 4wd for winter. That open diff life isn't kind.

As promised, just a little late.

And an update!! I got my new upper ball joints for the truck, i over spent for Moog, but they're pre-greased(or, the one i looked at was) so i can't complain. Now i just need to figure out which ones are the right ones for the lowers and camber bolts-maybe order front shocks- and tear the front end apart and slam it. Hopefully no later than mid June, so i can start looking into a trailer for ICC.

Also, i somehow snapped the level to recline my driver seat, which is no biggy, but now i have an excuse for new ones, are Sickspeed seats any good? or should i keep my insanely low budget and go for Foxbody seats?

I would say sickspeeds might be the equivalent of NRG but quality wise, I'm unsure. I was just going to get an NRG seat for my da9 because why would I spend 600-800 on one seat and its really not a whole lot different from a rep. Safety wise meh...if you install it wrong or 3 holes line up and you roll like that and die...that's your own fault. Either way sick vehicle you got going and hope to see more man.

Well, there's another problem, both fronts are on 3 bolts, lol. they snapped for whatever reason, and i've been too lazy to pull them out. But i'll more than likely put them on my current brackets unless i can bolt them straight to the floor and loose all my electrical shit.
                        And thanks man!

Also, Grip Royal wheels, yes, no? Might as well drop money on a decent wheel too, even though i'll have to get a hub made up.

Shameless self bump, only because i'm excited. A buddy of mine recently got a '95 Talon TSI, and it came with some extra parts. One of the parts he got was an AEM wideband and a two cup gauge pod, no harness, no sensor, so it's just chillin' in the truck until i can afford the shit to get it to work, but he also got the factory turbo. It has a little bit of shaft play, but for $30 i can't bitch. The only problem is, i can't quite figure out which flange it is. It's off the 4G63, if anyone can tell me that'd be great. I should be able to get it installed within the year, and hopefully get the Deville fixed so i can get this done! I can't imagine running lines, and some minor exhaust/intake work is going to cost too much--as long as i don't need an intercooler. Hopefully the trans hold the boost, I'm told the motor can do 5psi all day.
I'm pretty confused with the oil lines though. I see one return line, but 3 supply lines? and i see a vacuum line off the waste gate, but whats the line that's supposed to be ran off the face?

And, i learned that camber is indeed not what you want on a daily.. I shredded the inside of the front tires, and half of the rears when i rotated them. Whoops.

As soon as i can pay off my ticket, buy my girlfriend something nice for putting up with me, and afford another pair of blocks, camber bolts, a new pair of tires for the front, and pay insurance.

And yes. The dedicated Explorer forums say over and over 5 psi all day on the factory fuel system without a tune, and it's off a Talon, with some shaft play, so it should work out fine. I just need to figure out exactly what the other two ports are for, i've been told extra supply lines, oil catch, plug them, coolant(I know, right?), and i was told to leave them.. Until i can get a serious answer that i can trust, or get a good look at my buddies Talon, it's staying on my table.

I just want choo choo noises, and a chance with something other than a Civic or a Galant. I don't know if i'm doing straight off the manifolds as they are, or if i'm going to flip them so the turbo's up front.

I **** self bumps...But this time, it's worth some shit.
I got a spoiler, $10 at the local Ewe Pullet.. i couldn't say no, but my budget did.

I sank my phone, got a new one..Love the M9

Anyway. I had a '96 De Ville i was tryna sell. I ***** the car, and i wanted my money back. It was a long 3 months. But, i finally sold it. I was going to get another car, first, a '80 Luv, but needed valve work, then an '84 Celica, but needed a lot of work..Then an '89 Audi Quattro 200, but no response. I gave up, i said fuck it, ordered all my shit to fix the truck before winter..Especially camber bolts..I shouldn't eat a set of tires in 5 months. So, i was searching the local CL ads for parts, found some lower control arms with new ball joints, so i messaged the guy, gonna go pick em up today or next week.. Then, i saw for sale, a legit pair of Cobra R's, and i snagged em for $400. Test fitting the wheels, we realized i suck at gauging tire size, and i shouldn't do that anymore.

Test fitted the wheels, loved the look.. I pulled the trigger, said fuck this foo-foo and decided tonight is the night we slam it. But first, go out for a drive, see how it all feels.
Aired out my rear shocks, and i loved the stance

We waited around for my buddies grandpa to finish with the garage, pulled the truck it.. We started at 8-9, and finished at 10..Went for a rip, and found out the control arm doesn't agree. Swapped the wheels, pulled the spacers off the back, and went out for another loop.

And yes, it's a Coke can hanging off my truck..It said Explorer, i laughed, my buddies laughed, so i put it on there.
