Followed your past couple of builds, always turned out great, so I have no doubt this LS will be on point as well. Makes me want one! As far as the plasti dip, I'd ditch it, it'll look a lot cleaner. Just my .02. Haha looking forward to seeing the progress on this beauty!

thanks man, ya I've heard a lot of peel the dip now I'm still debating but don't want to put in the man hours to peel it all lol

So I've been lagging in the updates and heres your fix guys

Heres the finished product of the wiring harness tuck, also if you can see i bent up the pinch welds underneath the wheel well

          Driver side:
i cut the pinch welds, bent down the metal, tucked the harness up there, then closed it all up and pinched them back together, came out great! a lot of work though

          Passenger side:
i just cut two openings to pull the wiring up and over the pinch welds

Then i had my friend Austin buff out my headlights for a huge difference!

Im gonna disasemble them soon and paint the insides black

Then got bored the other day and threw on the wheels for shits and giggles, i need more camber in the rear to go as low as i want, but for now its whatever

I have some plans in play right now and if i play my cards right it will make a huge difference when its done

Her resting place until i can afford more parts

dads also not to happy with what I've done to the garage, soon she will be parked on the street since my driveway and garage sucks for slammed cars

I'm pretty envious of the way you did your fender harness. I ran mine through the engine bay like the SC guys do and regret it. I had to take the hood struts off to get the hood to close and now I have to use a piece of wood to prop it; really pisses me off plus that hood is crazy heavy when you don't have anything helping you out

i regret doing it like this though, cause I'm gonna be cutting out a lot of the frame for more clearance to go lower, going after japan low

                  HUGE UPDATE!!

                  PLASTIDIP PEELING IN PROCESS

                  Here are some before photos

So yesterday i was bored and said fuck it, the plastidip has to go

Started peeling, then said fuck, what have i done

I took gasoline to the taillights, corner lights, and fog lights and the plastidip came off no problem.

then started with the car, this is the outcome with 3 friends, including myself, after 2 hours. I'm fucked lol

                  super thin layers

Then i tried to get some closer shots of the wiring harness tuck/relocation

                      Good, very good.

I hope it hasn't ruined the paint.

try goo gone on the plastidip. it makes it come off easy on the thin layered dip

This thing is gnarly, I'm stoked you're going back to paint, but thin dip is a fuckin nightmare. A while back I had a passat I knew I was going to junk and after a few too many garage beers decided it'd be fun to let my friends go crazy on the car with dip.. Long story short, my parents didn't really like a car with a 3 foot dick on the hood sitting in front of their house. So I had to try and get it all off the next day. My best advice is to get scrubbin with a microfiber. Goo gone works pretty well but it left a nasty oily residue all over the paint. Best of luck to ya, I'm stoked for updates.

You could try a vinylrubber too, for those small areas and stuff
