Some recalled GM thing

This is how it sits right now..this is my not so stanced Pontiac G6. This is it's 3rd wheel set up in 3 years. I went threw a well I don't know kind of phase and put on some over sized blingy wheels,,


but after 2 years of the worst riding car on earth I did this and tried the OEM plus look and went to 18" ss cobalts

I loved the SS wheels but ***** the way they set in to far and the bad luck that came with them with blowing a tire every other week. So I looked around for a while for new wheels and ended up buying a set of 18x8" fast rennens


and then the recall letter poured in....


So I've been up and down do I keep the car ...sell the car...burn the car. As much as I want to sell it and get something else a part of me want's to take it to the next level.

-Eibach Pro Kit springs (about 1 3/4" drop from factory)

-Custom intake duct behind front lower grille
-G6 GXP dual exhaust rear valance

-laminx tinted tail lights and 3rd brake light
-5000k AWM Motorsport HID kit Low Beams and fog lights
-W.A.M.S 91 octane tune
-Roof panel painted BMW Jet Black #668
-Chrome trim and grills painted Satin black
-Saab 9-3 302mm front rotors
-Saab 9-3 Aero front calipers

-Saab 9-3 aero Coilovers
-new seats..9 years and 170,000km the driver seats needing some love
-MSD Ignition

There's bunch of cars on that platform, so its probably cheaper to get Opel Vectra coils from Germany for few hundred euros.
But them Aero brakes are nasty good tho.

I have a Cobalt SS. We have the worst bolt pattern imaginable. You almost have to get a hub swap or get a set of wheels custom drilled to have a decent selection

the 5x110 is awful to get wheels for unless I go custom or off the rack cheap rims like msr's or fast. The Saab coilovers are not that bad and don't need much modding to make work.

So.... well it's dead..

Last Thursday I brought my G6 to the dealer to get a recall fixed in my steering...Well I went to the dealer with a fully operational car...the steering sensor they put in on Thursday caused the car to turn it's self to the right and lock in place...So they gave me a rental to drive and were getting a new part on Saturday. I get the call on Saturday about lunch time the car was done and could be picked up on Monday. Ok fine until today....

I go down to the dealer on my lunch break pick up my car and drop off the Bohemith truck they gave me as loaner...get my keys pit them in the ignition and the car starts snapping crackling and popping, the dash and the radio blinked on and off like Vegas sign and the oder of burnt electronics filled the cabin. So I'm still driving the tank and my car is possibly toast

They said it's fixed yet again..they didn't ground it right... I'm still not a happy camper
