So I picked up some new wheels for this! Nothing super fancy, but some Borbet A's in 17x8.5/10j. Honestly, I never really liked Borbet A's, but something about these ones intrigued me.

I've just done a quick test fit, so I apologise for the crap pics..I'm going to need to roll my arches a little more and swap my front tyres - they have very little stretch and I need the clearance.

          Thanks man!

Been thinking of going some sort of 90's styling route.

Get a airbrush for your fuel filler lid.

Can't get more 90ies than that shit.

              ^

Then all clear tail lights and you're basically done

With that said theres that guy in america who run all white clears on his E36 coupe and I thought it looks alright, but that's probably cause the colour of his car makes it work

Quick google search, it's about half way down the page

Bas has already found me some clear rears. I'm hoping maybe to pick them up in the New Year

Eyelids would be a close call...

                    90s ftw...

                    I'd dig it.

Red and white combo looks always nice.

                        Thanks lads.

Brought the wheels up to my parents house on Xmas eve, got the massive tyres swapped to some spare Nankangs that I had in the shed. The fronts fit great now! I think I'm going to add a little camber by shimming the bottom of the strut, but I'm happy with how they fit!

Just need to fit the rears now!

Whilst I'm recovering from New Years dinner, I figured Id chuck a quick update on what I've done to this over the last few days.

Main big job was fitting the rear wheels. I'm not all the way there yet, but it shouldn't be too much longer before they're on properly. The current tyre is a 215/40 which runs pretty biiiig! So i'm going to get some narrower ones and I should be fine.

Changed all the rear brake discs, pads and handbrake shoes. So lovely to have a working handbrake again!

                          New box of bits!

                          New shoes and fittings

                          uhh..

I managed to get the fronts fitting just how I wanted them!

The rears fit super tight! Really hoping a narrower tyre helps with the clearance. Tomorrows job is front alignment and maybe see if I can get any more rear camber.

                          Happy New Year!
