Removed the Power Steering system and got a better look at the bottom on my rack haha get it?

    Peek a boo

That's the drain plug on the bottom on the rack, apparently ground through it

Cut off one of the tabs that the PS return line bolts to so the oil pan will clear and not be interfered with.

Also, did some cutting so the T5 shifter will fit.

Removed almost all of the insulation to drop some weight and clean the bar up a bit.

And this is where I'm at.......

and because monster burnouts and skids. You ever get the pulley and balancer off? You're normally suppose to use a puller that makes your life 100x easier and prevents throwing of wrenches. This thing should be sick. If you need any advice I can try my best to give my guidance. Now get to it, we're all rooting for you.

Yea I used the puller the first time and for whatever reason that shit didn't want to come out. SO much so that I ended up breaking one of the bolts off in the balancer lol. Then I tried it again a few months later the same exact way and it came out with no effort.

Finished up assembling the last head.

Stock valve covers were pretty oxidized and didn't want to deal with refinishing them. So I picked these up for $20. Has a small crack on one of the edges, gonna JB weld it up and sand it down so there wont be any issues when putting them on.

    Painted therm of course.

Also decided to paint the Rotor cap since I was an idiot and ordered a red one. All black all the things.

Can't wait to see what it looks like when everything is assembled. I hope it's as good as I envisioned it.

Also, our 4th tenant moved into our shop and we got his freshly acquired 86 Z31 300zx.

This car is beyond cool, especially with the OEM digital dash. Plans are to dump it and slide it.

Engine reassembly should hopefully start this week. Still need to clean all the mating surfaces and everything else while I'm in there. I'm seeing alot of debris in the block so I'll be flushing out the entire system once everything is together and running.

Also, hopefully going to start mocking up the bars for the front apron. I'm hoping to have the swap finished and hopefully a set of wheels by May 1st. Praying it all works out.

    Did more motor things tonight.

Got alot of cleaning to do. Get all the sand and dirt and grime out before reassembly. Paint a few more pieces still i should be good to go. Oh, and I still need to get the cam pulley and harmonic balancer off. That shit just wont come off.

I'm doing almost all the gaskets except the oil pan I believe. Head gasket, intake, water pump, valve cover etc. Found someone who had every piece to do this swap but lost motivation to do it. Now he is selling me all of it on the cheaps. Haha.

If you were closer I'd give you all my spare/ rebuild parts/ gaskets for EFI stuff, probably wouldn't be worth it to ship though.

    V8 swap goodies came in.

Started cutting at the wheel well's to fix the rot on one side and reinforce them with steel piping. One side is out, had to stop on the driver side cause I clipped the brake line so that needs to be fixed now as well.

Spent Saturday after work moving the motor out of my shed across 100ft of snow and ice with my dad to get it to the shop. Took us like 3 hours.

    Not sketchy at all.

Motor is in the shop and final tear down begins this week. Gotta paint a few more pieces and get some small things such as cam lube and lines before the reassembly begins. Hoping everything goes smoothly.
