Hey guys. I recently finished up a cool build for a customer and friend of mine.
The goal was to create a GLI with both show and sporty touches while keeping everything as hidden and clean as possible. Most of the time spent on the build will never been scene because its all hidden.
Please enjoy the pics!
(I'm an Accuair & Airlift dealer if anyone out there needs any parts for there own build!!!)
2014 GLI Autobaun Edition in its stock form. The car was brought to me with a little under 2k miles.

Build started off with the installation of the Airlift Bags and AccuAir Elevel Sensors
Lots of goodness in these boxes

Comparison of stock suspension vs Airlift & stock brakes vs TTRS

After Airlift suspension and Elevel sensor install the Trunk setup was next. The goal was to fit the entire setup in the spare tire well so that it would be completely hidden upon opening the trunk.
Started off by templating the spare tire well and creating a clean layout

I used the template to cut a plywood base and further refined the layout

Drilled holes for the airlines, layed out the sound deadener

Covered the trunk setup with OEM carpet and started assembly. I try and always make the entire trunk setup modular to aid in any future repairs or upgrades.

Here's the finial product. A few of the wires are run below the base for cleanliness. Everything is wrapped in OEM felt tape. Its hard to see but the Elevel control module is floating on metal brackets I made so that the plugs can be semi hidden from view.

Here's a picture of the Elevel and power harnesses. The main fuse and harnesses are fully accessible when the rear trunk trim is removed for easy servicing but completely hidden when installed

At the time I built this car Accuair's Ilevel was just being released. We were lucky enough to get one of the very first units!!
Keeping with the hidden theme of the car I positioned the Ilevel behind the passenger side trunk carpet.

I am probably one of the most anal guys around when it comes to cleanliness of an installation!! Especially when it comes to wiring. Since the car was decently pulled apart to run the airride harnesses it was a perfect time for me to work my magic and install the stereo.
Extra careful dis-assembly

New stereo components. Alpine touch screen with Alpine install and integration kit. JL Audio Stealth Box and Amp

just a few things to plug into the back of the head unit

Head unit install

Besides having to tuck all the wires the install kit made things very straight forward

Since he trunk setup turned out so clean and hidden I ran with that concept and did something similar with the amp
It was a tight fit but there was just enough room to hide the amp behind the drivers trunk carpeting.

keeping everything extra clean and organized
