nice, keep it up. Which of the millermatic was used? is it the 141, does it stand up well to thicker material when welding?
sorry i don't know which model it is. my dad has 2 Miller welders and i just call that one the baby miller. it has the option to use gas or not if that helps. I think is the smallest one they make that still has that option or something. i will look for the model number
i haven't updated this thread in a little while and i also have been not making progress at the rate i wanted.
heres some pictures of the last day that i drove it.
the day i pulled the motor out. unfortunately i didn't take any photos but I'm sure most of you know what it loos like to pull a dirty motor out of a car. nothing too exciting
motor in the back of the my C10
picture of my e36 mishimoto radiator, bimmerworld silicone intake boot and radiator houses, z4 shifter, e30 clutch. and various stuff that i don't want to type out
i pulled the m52 out of the e30(also didn't get pictures of pulling the motor) and taking a bunch of parts off of it and assembling my s50
spend hours wire brushing the transmission and motor with engine degreaser
and scrubbing the engine bay
still lots of cleaning up to do
picked up my replica pfeba valance from USPS
packed up all my crap in my c10 and brought it over to my friends house because he's letting me do my swap in his garage because my house is still rebuilt so i still don't have a garage
currently the s50 is sitting in the engine bay and i have one motor mount jig thing made and fabricated the transmission mount and the shifter and drive shaft are hooked up. i will be making the other motor mount arm and i will post more photos of all the progress later
