Psych. Im sorry, its not that at all. Truth is i wanted to make a thread to see the progress shared with some cool people.

Alright. Im 17 years old, My names jonathan, I make pizza for a living, and im also a tec student for automotive technology, right out of the dirty d as in Detroit Michigan.
I drive a 1998 honda civic. Its not as cool as what everybody else seems to have on here, but whatever im gonna put in work. Its all stock, has some leaks, dents, rust, you know the usual with a honda thats been used for mudding i swear. I was so eager at 16 to learn 5 speed after doing a roofing job with my father i was compensated with 1 brick( 1000 greenbeans lol)
i drove 3 hours to get this dookie:
as you can see its pretty crusty.
Literally the next i went to drive it to the car was... im driving down my street and i get to the end of the street i get halfway out turning and stall the car out. No dash lights. No crank, No nothing just dead. Ended up having the car sit for maybe 3 days figuring out what was wrong being 16 and having no for knowledge, i had to read. I though maybe it was my battery of course i replace it and its not that, then the ignition coil, changed that as the old one had no coil on the end of it. It was corroded to death. But that wasnt it. Then i finally figured it out with the help of my buddy pulling my car and doing a pull start we diagnosed it was The starter. So i went and pulled it then went to orileys and got the last manual trans starter that was re manufactured for maybe 160 or so.(i never thought about ebay or the junkyard at the time) Got it all in and then we were good. Lots of other dumb stuff happened like it sitting for 3 months in the winter because of a bad icm. Swapped a new dizzy in just because and it hasnt had a problem since. gonna post more pictures soon. ive got plans but youll see whats to come of it.

Went with the Megan single bend short shifter 06 si knob(but its 5 speed tho?) lol and a new oe shift boot.
