I also have the Rogue DMS exhaust and I LOVE IT. I would say its a mix between muscle car V8 and exotic V12 in the way it sounds through the range
There isn't much difference in price between stromung and RE, but I love the look of the RE more, I might still go for the RE. I'd love to just blast pipe the thing, but I live in one of those small town subdivisions by the schools, built in the 50's and full of people that everyone knows. :l

Hadn't really done much this month. Saved up money for Formula Drift Round 2: Rd Atl. Had a fuckin' blast.
We were at the bottom of the hill. (not bad for a phone camera)
Earlier this week, though, I slapped on the new wheels.
Patched the front left tire after it leaked 7 lbs in 2 days.
Replaced the blown hood shocks (I'm surprised how light the factory hood is)
Since this is my first manual, I took it for 20 laps around the neighborhood to practice before getting the tag renewed. Gonna have to learn how to double clutch, cause the syncros are shot and not wanting to let me downshift.
(up to 3rd gear with no grinds, woo! PO couldn't shift into 2nd without grinding, but my noob-ass figured it out)
Unplugged and tossed the old JT2 immobilizer, cause it was giving me fits about restarting the car without unpluggng the battery first. (manufacturing date was '97 and I don't have a FOB)
Replaced all the fuses for gauge illumination and interior lighting. All of it went out when I was driving it Sunday night. They worked again when I replaced the fuses, but after I finished driving it, they stopped working again. This one is really starting to baffle me. Next month I'll be getting a new key. Current one is worn the hell out. It's having trouble with the ignition. Hopefully I'll be confident enough with driving it, that I can renew it soon and make it my daily.
EDIT: I forgot to mention I started an Instagram @endlessrival and my personal one @_notlance

Got the tag renewed and the day I was going to take it home... the window fucked up. Rolled up too high and then refused to roll back down, or even drop so I could shut the door.
So I decided to at least fix the door brake. Reused the pin from the spare door brake I got, when I picked up the driver seat.
Since I only had 3 valve stem caps, and they were all mismatched, I ordered some from PBM. Needed to do a little somethin' to keep my spirits up. I wanna see this thing through. I almost put the car up fs/ft the week that the window fucked up. I was getting tired of it and BMW wanted to charge me $130 just to look at it.
Anyway, they arrived before I headed back to work on the window. Not bad for $10. Might by another set just to have some still in this packaging, lol.
Well, with a level head, I pulled the door card off the passenger side to see what could possibly be wrong with the driver side door... and I found the culprit.
The upper bumpstop had fallen off. So after putting the window regulator and motor back on the door. I put the bumpstop back on.
However, the window rolled down, but then wouldn't roll back up. It eventually stopped moving altogether, but it still made a click when you hit the switch. Unplugged the motor and hooked a battery up to it. Motor worked just fine. Changed the switch to another window and it worked fine. I'm suspecting it's the comfort relay. Anyway, we hooked up the battery to the motor and set the window to where it will let me shut the door.
Drove it home that night, a fuckton of noise was coming out of the back. It was either bearings or the wheels weren't balanced. Still drove it to work this week to get better at driving a manual.
Getting ready for a trip to the tire shop in this 100 degree (70% humidity) weather. They're having a sale on vehicle inspections.
Welp, suspicions confirmed. Rear wheel bearings are shot. Guess it'll be off the road until Monday when I replace them.

Discovered the BMW equivalent of Z1, EuroATL. Ordered a gas cap from them since the PO used something completely wrong.
Then, I replaced both rear wheel bearings over the weekend.
(lol)
This month, I've planned to get a wheel to replace the one that's bent, 4 wheel alignment, and some obligatory black kidney grills. (oh yeah, WTB one Style 43 if you're local)Last edited by Spawn613; 06-30-2015, 10:36 PM.
