So I've lurked here for quite the whiles and figured I could put up a thread about my E28 since there so popular now lol. First, a little back story. So back around November of last year I decided it was time to trade my ratty B5 a4 for another ratty rotbox.
A '93 240sx convertible with a 5spd ka24de swap that didn't run or drive. It was lowered, rotted out, straight piped, welded diff 'o fun type stuff, but it could never be road worthy with the amount of repairs it needed so I sold it to pick this up...
A true '83 533i. The reason I say true is that it's a early year production that came with a lightweight flywheel, 3.25 LSD rear and a 270 degree cam among other little parts.
I happened to find it just around the block from my shop at the time and tried for about 3-4 weeks to get in touch with its owner. Once I did we settled for a cool price of $500 and I towed it home later that week.
After getting it running from its 10+ year long slumber I had to start playing with it so I did what anyone with an old bmw would do and cut some springs out...
I've got some wheels and more coils to cut out planned but that's for me to know and you guys to see.
In the meanwhile a buddy of mine hit me up and told me he had something for me....
Not sure what it came off of but none the less I dig it.
Updates will be slow as this is not my main priority at the moment but i'll pop in here and there.
