    Thanks for the kind words dudes!

    I mounted and balanced my tires after work yesterday, and now I have everything to start rollin'.

    I'm really hoping to get everything installed tonight!!

    I'll leave some more wheel porn.

    Other pair of wheels and tires showed up to work today. Just waiting on lug nuts now to get this thing down. Here's a teaser that doesn't tease anything except wheel specs.

    I'm not too optimistic about these wheels on this car but, for the price I paid for the full set I would've been stupid to pass them up. Probably just gonna run them until fall and figure out a possible new plan over winter.

    started a topic 2000 Forester, Daily Fun!

    2000 Forester, Daily Fun!

    Hey everyone! My name is Max and, I'm from the southwest suburbs of Chicago.
    I've been into cars for about 8 years now. This "build" came about when I had to sell my most recent project due to personal family issues. I don't have the money or space currently to host a second car build, so I decided to toss a few bucks aside for some parts for my daily beater!

    Here's a few pictures of my two most recent projects;

    I bought the car in late January of this year and, I LOVE it. My family has always stood by Subaru's, and this is my second one. (I had a 92 Legacy that last me 356k!) I bought it for $3200. The motor, transmission, driveline and, rear end are out of a 2009 Legacy that had 35k on the clock. (It's up to about 44k now) The previous owner had gotten the car wrecked from an auction. He also added the 09 brakes front and rear, 09 seats and carpet as well!

    The body has its flaws, as it has nearly 300k on it but, for a beater it does the job.

    Anyways, I have a few parts on order and plans to make this thing a bit cooler.

    I always appreciate criticism, just don't be a douchebag!

    First night I got it; I immediately wanted to test the car the next day, and did a 500 mile round trip, and it held up perfect!

    A few more shots from over the past few months, I've since only added a Pioneer AppRadio, and made an led cluster!

    I'm not sure why I always take pictures of the passenger side, there's no nasty wreck or anything on the other side, oh well!

    Will post updates as soon as parts and progress arrive!!
