Hellabroke Hardbody

Well I'm new to Stanceworks so don't know much about Stanceworks lol
Anyways, I have a Nissan Hardbody that I've been working on for a year. It was a gift given to me from my brother. This is the WHOLE build so far so it'll be a long post lol


The day I got it



After a month, it was lowered and white wheels. I thought I was the shit haha



So during a snow day, this tragic happened. After that I lost so much interest in it.

So I only replaced the fender and called out quits. Didn't work on it for about a month and a half.
Then I ran into some Silverado wheels that I hadn't seen on any Hardbody yet. Decided to get them and this is a picture of them on



After that, I got back into working on it some more. Went on into doing some painting my valve cover and air intake.



Being broke and on a budget, I bought a eBay quick release set up



She sat like this for quiet some time because of the lack of funds. Not bad though




Got tired of seeing the rear so plain, so stock lol. Got some LED tails, a tailgate "wing" (never have I seen a Hardbody with this), and some flares for the new 16x8 wheels that I bought. Now that a$$ looks aggressive!

Now all she needs is to get the body work done, and then paint! but wont be anytime soon. Saving up to buy another car/truck

Any ideas on what to do next? I'm getting 195/55/16 up front and lower it a bit more. Monoleaf the rear for another inch and a half drop. Keep in mind I'm still in school, and barely turning 17 so it's a slow/broke build lol.

And, is the actual quick release a brand like vms? i was looking into a vms with a momo crush type hub. It looks good. im also 17 and budget building my civic 4 door. its boutta get typically untypical lol.

It's alright, not bad for $70 bucks in total. The red did fade off the steering wheel though lol. but no, its a no name brand wanting to do a nrg 240sx set up but my wallet tells me no
I'm saving up for a sedan also so maybe in a couple of months you'll see me post something about a sedan haha

i like your hardbody man! but yeah i my twin has he whole nrg deal in his DA9. sedan as in honda? but yeah dude, Ive got to cut out my quarter an re-weld a patch panel on the rh rear. then i think im going to align the front end because everything kind of hangs lol.

Yeah, I want a Honda Civic sedan. I loved the one my brother used to have so it made me want a sedan over a coupe or hatch. You got a build thread for yours yet?

So I never updated this.. "So when my truck was the best I've ever seen it. my s10 broke off on a driveway. it got broken into so I needed a whole new rear window. new stereo and new rear view mirror.
A week later, I was in a hit and run the front bumper is bent pretty bad, a week and a half later I was rear ended by some guy. So now i have to get a whole bed, new tail lights, new front bumper, and a rear bumper, All in ONE month...
Time to break out the piggy bank and buy all these parts.

This happened a month ago, I have a new window in, another rear bumper, and a bed. The bed needs work so Im not putting it on, I don't have a garage so the bed's body work will have to wait till after winter. For now, it's bedless with no stereo, and no rear view mirror lol.

It's been forever since I've been on here!!!!!
I actually found a picture of the wreck, not that good but it's not too bad and shows how the bed was crunched up together


The bed is actually unbent now, thanks to my dad. Now it just needs some bondo and it'll be back to almost the same.
I also bought another tailgate, rear bumper, new pair of led tail lights and did a pathy front end.
I didn't like the way the tailgate looked primer, looked too simple.
So my mind starting getting ideas and ended up with this awesome tailgate! All artwork done by me.







The whole truck will be repainted after I do the bodywork that is needed on the bed, so it'll be on Spring Break from high school.

Haven't done much to the truck since I've been busy with another project.

JDM B20b high compression from a Crv already sitting in, just need some wiring and other small things to have it running!

I actually have a rendering of how I want the truck to look. Just waiting on Spring Break to have time to do it. High school, part time college and work really keeps me busy lol
Hopefully the Hardbody will be ready before this month ends!
