Nice mod on the control arms. I think I like the new wheels a lot. Can't wait for a proper shoot. Are you keeping the hardtop black when you repaint?

Sorry missed the side-by-side of the new vs old arms.

I had it swimming in PB blaster. Im more shocked that I was able to bend the spanners.

    UPDATE:

Got to test fitting and nothing worked. so I bought some shortened upper control arms for the rear on the cheap from a local dude (lucky find) and got to wrenchin' the next day. Just got a DSLR and my girlfriend loves taking pictures so this thread is about to get pic heavy. Sorry.... Maybe...

Shortened VS stock. Just cut and re-welded. looks to be about a quarter inch or so shorter, but That translates to a lot of camber

The, "throw me that wrench over there face"

After not that long, I was ready to set things down. Install really wasn't difficult at all. but then again, nothing on a miata is that difficult. The results are pretty much the best I could hope for:

So tomorrow I'm stopping by BC North America, then going to the tire shop to get 195's on the front and a much needed alignment

Sorry to hear about the wheels, that's a damn shame. CCW's look fantastic though!

    List of things to shave:
    Badges
    Mirrors
    Antenna
    Side-markers

Just takes money. Also got a bunch of supplies to start painting things myself.... probably not going to tackle my hardtop though. Not going to risk that while i'm learning.

Has anyone else had the problem of not being able to turn collars on their coilovers before? I literally bent the spanners. and i'm definitely doing it right.

I love the way toyo's stretch. probably do 195 45 toyo up front on the 9's and move the current Nexens to the rear. The Control arms should help a lot. Should be able to get close to -8 degrees of camber. Stay tuned for sunday on that!

16s could work, especially with the lip. That test fit looks promising as fuck though. Sub'd for sure.

Awesome man. Saw you posted teasers on instagram

Any luck finding your RS's though?

EDIT: Yes do 195/40s in front and 205/40 in the back

Also, do have centercaps, but the flat original style doesnt fit with my hub-bolt thing so I have some flat CCW caps for sale... and cone ccw caps in the mail

Ok so a lot of parts showed up and I got to test fitting and slapping some shit on.
Got a hardtop (OEM with defrost and headliner) and some new rimmerzzz....

    Decided to take a glamor shot. CCW Lm20 16x9 -6 and 16x10 +0.

laid out at wawa getting some pressure

Started to get to the test fitting. they've got 205 40 in the front and 215 40 in the rear. Quickly figured out that I need wayyyy less tire

Literally cant move. thinking of moving the 205 40's to the back and getting 195 45 for the front. Thoughts?

Anyway got too dark while i was putting the front on. but it's ET- Agressive and I dont have the tires for it or the camber. In other news, i Also BROKE THE FUCKING COILOVER WRENCE while adjusting my front left coil, which is apparently siezed or something. I live literally 5 minutes from BC North America though so I will be dropping by with my bent coilover spanners on monday haha.

Got some shortened upper control arms to try and bring in the rear. I'm digging 16's. Feel free to weigh in with your thoughts.
