Hello everyone! and welcome to my new build. let me start off by saying I never thought in a million years I would ever own this beautiful car.

"The Story"
A couple months ago a mechanic friend of my dads mentioned to us he has a nonrunning 94 E500 that came into his shop and the owner doesn't want to mess with it anymore. The car has been sitting nonrunning for 5 years only has 83K miles on it, one owner with all maintenance records. The owner actually said he's thinking about junking the car (he is a doctor and didn't have time for it anymore). My dad has owned a ton of older mercedes and is no stranger to them, He had a feeling there was rust in the gas tank so we took the tank home and cleaned it out and YES it was full of rust. After cleaning the tank and reinstalling it along with new fuel pump it fired right up! Long story short I sold my MK4 and bought the E500

I'm super stoked to get started on this car although I am new to the w124 world so bare with me this will be a slooow project. Thank you for looking and suggestions are welcomed!

Someone might have broken into the car, and fucked up the console attempting to steal the head unit. Just happened to my buddy's 300CD the other day.

That... would make sense, especially with grey being one of the less-common interior colors.

Thanks man! haha I do love these seats AND there in awesome condition..as for the console being beige I have no idea lol someone breaking in the car and cracking origional one makes sence. it's a eye sore but I doubt i'll find a grey one

FWIW Scottmcphee on PeachParts is parting an '87 and getting rid of stuff for fire sale prices. I don't know what color the interior is, but I know he's got a wiper arm for $10, since it looks like you might need one.

FWIW Scottmcphee on PeachParts is parting an '87 and getting rid of stuff for fire sale prices. I don't know what color the interior is, but I know he's got a wiper arm for $10, since it looks like you might need one.

Thanks for the info! I do have a wiper arm it's in the trunk with some other parts.

First more maintenance my new gas tank and ac compressor just arrived so we'll be tackling that this monday hopefully. Then new paint, Air and wheels. I'm planning on keeping this car for a long time.
