finally got new seat(s)... £5 for the pair theyre about 50 years old which is why probably

only problem is that they sit super low, it feels like im sat on the floor amd even though im easily over 6ft tall the visibility is really not great (and the interior really needs tidying up i know, the wheel is probably gunna be swapped out for something else too)

Thank you! I'm starting to think about changing things up again, so it may take another path over the next few weeks..

But for now, I took the wheels off today

Repainted them with the card method because I'm somewhat lazy

And then put them back on

I know the bumper is hanging off a bit and the arches are kinna chewed up, thats something I'll be sorting out soon (and I'm really tempted to go for a Volvo 480 Turbo engine swap since it goes straight in.. ). Oh and I've wondered about doing the diesel oil thing on the fender to darken the rust maybe and theres a few more things I've yet to mention so I'll get more (and finally, better) pictures of those tomorrow

Did a super quick job repainting the wheels (theyre silver right into the dish now rather than like.. halfway-ish) and I prefer it so I'll be taking them all off tomorrow to do a proper job of it

British weather had other ideas today and since this isn't garaged then painting etc was a no no
Also realised I haven't shown any pics from the back (mainly because it's umm.. not particularly good looking) but here's one anyway

That picture also shows the changes I made to the standard grey seats which were one of my least favorite parts of the whole car, here's a closer picture of that haha I know it's not the best thing in the world but this does the job of brightening them up a bit

The inside is worse than the outside I know

Haha yeah the wind deflectors... I like your idea though I definitely see how that would work, but the side trims are long gone

And about the wheels, I'm fine with the banded steels really but I would love a set of ATS Classics or Alleycats..

Thanks, this was a dilemma for me because I did the fender before the wheels, and when I saw it I just thought I would do the wheels too since if I was changing that I may as well change a bunch of stuff (I like to change it up every once in a while)

I think I'm actually going to repaint the wheels today the same way they are, but go further in with the silver to highlight how wide they are (they're banded steels but I hadn't painted all the way into the dish).

Not sure on the number plate either since at the moment it has the square-ish one on but I still have the original that fits in the recess like in the very first picture

I've got a real soft spot for Renault 5's. You can go weeks without seeing one on the road as well.
It pleases me to see one on here. Thank you
