79 Benz S-class

It's a v8 (4.5) with a 3 speed auto trans. Has almost 330k miles and it runs great, transmission shifts smooth, and it brakes pretty darn well for being so big. It does move pretty well for the horsepower which is probably only about 200hp. It still has all of its OEM Mercedes/Bosch parts which are cool.

Issues:
-Leak at the radiator drainplug.
-Valve cover gaskets are leaking.
-Headlight surrounds are cracked.
-A/C belts are missing.
-Rear seats are DONE.
-Sun roof doesnt open (dead motor?)

I'm at a bit of a crossroads with this car. After I fix these issues I'm not sure if I want to keep it and mod it or just sell it.

If I do keep it I'll want to do a few things:
-Nardi steering wheel
-Euro bumpers
-Euro headlights
-Wheels
-Exhaust
-Lower it somehow

Keep it. Properly maintained Mercs will run for ever.

Keep it! 6.9s are wonderful, but they can be phenomenally expensive to take care of. And as lovely as the W108/109s are, there aren't nearly enough W116s done.

That car is actually my inspiration to build a 116.
