dude this is so fucking awesome. the volks are cool wheels but the vs-xx look at home on this thing.

why not rebuild the wheels to an inch wider instead of running spacers?

Welp, It’s been a hot minute 😂 but here we are.

She’s not dead yet, but I have moved at a near glacial pace. After putting the vs-xx’s on I was pretty content with it. It rode great, and only rubbed in the rear slightly on real hard cornering or massive bumps.



But eventually something new had to happen. My Volk c1’s were kicking around, and I decided to try them on the car thinking they would never ever fit on the car and be driveable.




Much to my surprise they actually looked great, but poked waaaay too much. If only there was a way to make them fit that I had lying around 😂 So I finally moved my lazy ass and started to mount the widebody kit.


A quick test fit and it looked like the wheels fit perfectly 😍




This was the kick I needed. I mounted the hood with aerocatch hood pins



And then quickly began over fender surgery. This is easily the worst thing I’ve had to do to a car so far.




Cut, hammered, welded, primered, seam sealed, and finally rockguarded. Hopefully this will be enough to keep it sealed.

At this point I was in love, and drove it a fair bit!






It looked great on the c1’s, but deep down I wanted my grippy tires back. Eventually I got 25mm spacers for the vs-xx wheels. Now I’m back on them which is much more fitting.





Currently I plan to wrap the car, and mount the splitter + spoiler in the near future.

Sorry, not sorry for lack of updates

Lost a bunch of photos when my phone shat the bed.

Not much progress on this thing, but heres an update.
My 205 wide front wheels wouldn’t quite clear at full lock, so I eventually tracked down a slightly smaller tire for the front.

And they fit oh so snuggly, but clear on full lock!

I also tracked down a roll bar



New tires make it handle amazingly, grip is unreal.

Hopefully the next update is something more exciting!
