I am 18 years old and have been working on cars for almost 2 years now. My first car was a 2001 BMW 330i (Pics below) that was an automatic and left me yearning for more. I bought my current 330i from copart in 2013 summer as it was manual and had a nice color combo.
I have been repairing technological items such as computers/ game consoles/ cell phones and what not since the seventh grade out of a shop at my house. Once I started working on cars I decided to open my own shop to work on cars, which I ended up doing when I was 17.
I am now going to be heading to NC State in the fall as a Computer Science major and a Business major with an accounting minor. The reason I am doing all of that is because I was dual enrolled in college and high school which allowed me to take a lot of college courses and almost get my associates before graduation. I am in the process of obtaining a shop in Raleigh so that I can continue to feed my passion for cars.
Now a little about the car. Once I got the shop I decided to buy a M3 as a donor vehicle for my car. I started the swap March 5, 2014 and finished it on March 23, 2014. Since I am a one man show, the car took a while since I was juggling school, customer cars, and building my own car.

The car has:
S54 Motor
6MT
M3 Rear End
M3 Brakes
M3 Csl Trunk
M3 Front bumper cover
Lowered on springs for now (but have coilovers waiting to be installed)
Wheels are some reps I got from a friend since my original wheels were bent.
This car is a work in progress and is no where near completion. I drive a lot so I have not really been able to work on the car outside of the time I had it down for the swap.

I don't have many pics of putting my car back together with the new engine as I was in a hurry to finish the car as I had a lot of customers backed up. But there is a video at the end!
As soon as I finished the car it was back on the road even with half the interior missing and without a muffler. I got around to putting everything else later on and will have pics of that up soon. The car may not be appealing to some people but a lot of hard work has gone into the car. This car has taught me many things and has led me to do many things as well. After the swap I have put close to 8000 miles on it already and that was not even driving as much as I did with school.
Copart had a contest for rebuilding cars, which I participated in and was selected as a finalist. Almost all of the cars I buy are from copart and even my car and its donor car were from copart. It would be very much appreciated if you guys could support my future ventures by voting on my video:
