    damn.

As previously mentioned, those bumpers are worth QUITE A BIT here, as a set of matching front and rear eBay fakes run about 350$ new. Not to mention, the hatchback never even got the IDEA of a sunroof, folding mirrors (not even the Si got those), power mirrors, windows, the whole nine. Does it have keyless entry by some odd chance? Only our EX and Si trim got that. On the other hand I can not even begin to fathom how slow that D14 is. Our standard DX/LX Civic's got the D16y7 and it is often mocked for it's pathetic performance (GREAT fuel economy though.)

On an upbeat note, glad to see you fixed that rust. It seems only the hatchbacks rust out really bad here in North America. They have really poor moisture pockets and rear drainage systems, collecting all that water and moisture near the rocker panels, quarters, and right near those rear toe arms. My last hatch had very rusty toe arms, I didn't even go near them and feared getting an alignment, I knew they would break.

Best of luck, I'll be following this for sure.

Edit: PULL OUT those rear quarter panel rubber strips going along the lip edge. Those collect moisture REALLY bad on these cars.
i will be changing the lips in the front making them 9". also i will probably make new radius fenders all around. will replace the entire undercarriage. will also add new disc brakes in the front and rear. i need to use the key to open the doors. no keyless, but it is a central system.

    So i did some stuff.

    here is the rusty area:

    a bit of grinding:

And a new home made plate.

    And done!

Also had some coils laying around.

    And did some exhaust.

Not that low.. but I'm gonna let it set for a week or so. and if I'm not satisfied I'm gonna make some serious adjustment and get it really low.

got a look under the car today. the right side frame in the rear is all eaten up with rust.
so there is a major work ahead. also the other stuff under the car needs to change do to rust. the body is mint but the underside of the car does not look good. I'm gonna take som pictures tomorrow and let you guys see how bad it is.
    forgot my camera today.

pluss, i don't need to take it out of a car and sell the donor car.
