I always wanted them when I had my 240z but didn't even think about putting them on here until I randomly saw them on Craigslist last week.

So excited to get them on but have to sell my M-Parallels and style 5's to justify spending $2k on lips and assembly.

Did you have to wet sand the finished paint job before buffing to polish out the paint ?

I did have to wet sand before buffing. Had to get it rebuffed due to a shitty job by the first guy.

No tuck yet. I'll probably do it once I give up on finding Euro rear bumper.

i like the color a lot man cool shark, keep us posted, i got an 87' im thinking about doing the tuck untill i get the euros also, cant stand the diving boards. i was wondering you got a pic somewhere of the rear tuck done on one of these or if it was all still in your head ? i did the front on previous car and i liked it , loose fit with the rubbers on the side but a lot better looking then the original imo. also got a 260/5 and the parts for a trans swap, but hesitant due to the fact its not a 260/6 or 265, plus i know the 260/6 doesnt take to the m30b34 with out mods to the electronics of the car due to sensors that attach to the bell housing, bbut i guess im stuck with the 260/5 for now . any cool tid bits you could shoot this way ?

All this transmission talk is totally over my head. The major engine and transmission maintenance and stuff I just leave to the pros.

Do you have a build thread for your shark?
