Whoa I forgot I had a build thread. So those ESM wheels came in and the jackass that I bought them from listed the wrong sizes for just about everything about these wheels. The ad said "16x8" I'm not sure of the offset, I simply went on ESM's website and looked up the wheels in that size etc. and found it quite easily. The tire size listed was 205/50 in good condition with 80% tread life.

What I received were 16x9 wheels with 225/50 tires. The 9" width is not a problem in the rear, but for the front I would have to run a spacer to clear my coilovers. The tires were HUGE and two had ridiculous camber wear and the sidewalls were nonexistent. I wasn't interested in buying new tires and spacing out the front etc. So i pissed and sold the wheels.

Just got a new top, oil pan, axles and a laundry list of other shit! Isn't owning an 87 awesome

But i love this car so its cool

So I got this stuff recently. I'm hopefully going to work on polishing the wheels over winter and have them ready for spring. The ix kit is still up in the air. The flares don't do it for me.

Polishing is a lot of work. I got these salad shooters sprayed black and I want them like rolling mirrors.

It's paying off though. It's been so damn cold here recently I can't stand working in my unheated garage.

Just a quick one leaned on the jalopy

          However, miles to go yet...

This snow stuff is prohibiting me from get work done. The day prior to it snowing I spun the coilovers down a bit more, the rockers are about ~ 2" from the pavement which makes me happy. I should get a skidplate having been through an oil pan already.

I have a lip to install, one wheel to polish yet even though they won't be put on anytime soon anyway. Here's some pictures i guess

            Made some pipe type things.
