Hi everyone, my name is Erik, I'm from Québec Canada and this is my GMC Sonoma. It's a 1995, 2.2L non-ecotec manual. I bought it because it was cheap, single cab, has the engine/transmission I wanted and the mecanic is perfect. Ok it's pink, or raspberry if you prefer, but I don't really care, I must even say that I'm starting to like the colour. By the way, this is not going to be the biggest build ever, it's my first car and i'm super poor.
When I got it:
I **** rust
The previous owner was an old man who purchased it brand new in 1995, so it's super clean!
I removed the fiber box thing, chrome fender trims and the step bars. Then I started to buy parts for it, I bought a 3/4 drop and a rollpan of ebay
Rollpan installed
B*tches love pink trucks (even if it's a male)
Got some small mirror at 25$
Then I got my drop installed. I had airlift on the truck, but the bags were broken and the compressor didn't do anything, so when the blocks were installed in the back, the bags were removed. What I didn't know was that some leafs were pulled... so it resulted in a 3/6 drop.
Plastidiped my lip, yo
My truck vs. a Ram (and my idiot friend)
It's nice to being able to transport things
Or friend that makes your frame touching the pavement
Or even sleep in the bed while watching movies with the gf and the dog
The truck vs. my brother's Jeep
I was tired of being low in the back, but relatively normal in the front sooooo I got 2" spindles
So here's the truck now, waiting to install the drop, getting new wheels and new fenders
I plan to get these Basset wheels, they're cheap and could get them in 15x8 ET-25, what do you think it would be with my current tire setup (205/75/15)?
