Im not really racing into buying something else, (Well at least I think im not.)

Oh well. I will be happy with this hatch. As long as the body is good I really dont care about then engine seeing as my brothers know Honda mechanicals inside and out basically (im still learning). For me as long as the body is good im happy with the car.

yessir, keep at it dude. ive tried selling my ek sedan 4 or 5 times. Almost got a trade for a miata and a crx but deals fell through so i knew that the 4 dawrrr is destined to be with me lol. but its got a good chunk of rust and leaks but im actually getting all the stuff together to cut it out and re-weld the new quarter i bought for it. Im also 17 and i work a little caesars making 6.29 because of sub-minimum wage but i havent left so i can finish hs. But once im 18 i think im gonna get a hook up with gm because of all the family members i have that work there. but i basically work full time lol. keep at it dude! looks good!

I'm curious as to why you bother with the steering wheel club.

^for one, kids wanna be race car drivers. haha and i gotta park on the street and there's a TON of meth heads who probably will steal anything they can to get their meth. trust me i've seen some stupid stuff lol. my cars from 92 and is basically able to be stolen with a flathead and it has no alarm. sometimes its just a temporary way and something that gives you some peace at night if your wheel is locked in your house.
anyway to op, less see dat hatch boi

Some more info on the car.

                Its a 1997 Civic DX

                Its purple

It has 113,000 original mile (pretty rare for one of these cars)

It threw a rod so I got it for 800 dollars

Also I need to buy an engine lol. (or rebuild this one)

Did you happen to get the rear lip from the previous hatch?

Good score on the hatch. Do yourself a favor, just do an LS swap or something basic to get into B series territory. Once you have it all set up (linkage axles the whole 9) all you do is build a NASTY engine on the side then BOOM drop it right in! You can put an LS in that car for under 700$ if you shop right.

As tempting as it is to drop a B series in this. Im just not really feeling a swap at this point.

Maybe at some point in the future when I have a steady income so I dont run out of money when something goes wrong or I need some extra part.

Basically I have a very strict budget then I cant go over. (Seeing as the money I got from selling my coupe is all that I have for this hatch)

                              HEY LONG TIME NO UPDATE

Heres a quick summary of whats happened with the car.

Well for the whole month of September I was at my brothers house in lynnwood babysitting his son because his usual babysitters went on vacation for a month so I couldnt do anything to the car seeing as i was like 50 miles away without any transportation willing to take me from tacoma to lynnwood so thats why i didnt do anything for that whole month.

ANYWAYS TODAY I DID A THING.

                              I restored my headlight.

                              Before:

                              1000 grit wet sandpaper:

                              1500 grit:

                              3000 grit:

                              Compund:

                              Polish:

THEN I thought well thats not enough so i went ahead and decided "hey im going to try wet sanding the paint" so i did

1000 grit (wet sanding as well):

                              1500 grit:

                              3000 grit:
                              #IForgotToTakeAPicturePlsForgive

End result with of a comparison of not touched paint and the paint i worked on.
