Had afew cars ive put some time and effort into..
Heres my old saab...

Heres the mazda I swapped the jetta for

bear with me as this is all copied off other forums
my names Fraser and I live in Sheffield in the uk.
a boring history lesson...
I spent a fair bit of time on my old mx5 and made it roadworthy nice to be in etc, but I started to realise id need a car that could carry all my photography gear and also our lasses makeup stuff (she's a makeup artist n has a massive bag of makeup), anyway, I had seen Leon put some pics of his jetta up on facebook n instantly thought it was tasty. few messages and a day later and the swap was done.
Spent all of today cleaning the inside and outside of the car. no offence to the last owner but the inside looked like it had never been cleaned lol
anyways I cracked my camera out for 5 mins earlier n took some pictures.

Not sure what my plans are to be honest, apart from paint the wheels a different colour, either rota/bbs gold, silver or white.
Its already on coilies and obv ill keep the 14" borbets.
Sorry for the horrendous instagram image and the fact theres only one picture, I had to try n tackle the car in between rain showers (shouldve just waited but im so impatient lol

Just gonna keep ontop of it now keep it nice
So I decided because it was a nice day id go out and take a couple snaps of the car...
Went to a meet before so the car was nice and clean. Managed to get it fully detailed and afew small rust bubbles etch primed and painted in again before they became worse.

Only jobs left are to order two new borbet centre caps and repaint the wheels. Get my last student loan mid april so itll probably happen then.
So I decided that because the weather was nice it would be a great opportunity to get my proper camera out and take a couple of photographs of the jetta.
Here they are...

One last picture I took the other night. cant wait to take this to afew shows this year.

So ive done afew bits and bats on the jetta recently, first off I decided to get it solid so the chassis leg and sill on the passanger side have had some welding (thanks joe!). Now that that's sorted I thought id get the machine polisher out and give it another blast with that and a general touch up tidy up

Now, ive been looking for a single lamp front end and when one came up complete with grill slam panel and lights and was only a tenner I though why not. So it was purchased for me Duke and on it went.(thanks Duke!)

Thought I could live with the metal strip at the bottom being black but it just anoyed me so I gave it a quick fuss yesterday and colour coded it.

Next on the list is redo my wheels a nice silver or chrome powdercoat. Itll not be for a while though as im skint
I decided to swap my front end back and add a red pinstripe like the gold gti grill.

apologies for the horrendous image quality my laptop is at my girlfriends so I had to take this image off the dslr screen and edit it on my phone lol
Cheers
Fraser.
