Good idea painting the intercooler black, supposedly performs better if its black, but that's just a rumor!

Now that's a dream garage! Converted barn?
Keep this build going and finish it up.
I got the new grills for the front, so the exterior is ready.
Next some tires for the wheels.
or just for three, because I broke one valve.
Rears are 215/40 falken fk452 because I had those lying around.
Fronts are some old BF goodrich tires which I got cheap for testing. Size 195/45.
Bit different looking sidewall, but otherwise it's ok.
And here is video how to mount tires by hand

Engine is now waiting for valve timing and new oilpump.
There was some damage on the pump, so I'm changing it.
Here is the m50b20 can with more lift and duration going in. I spend lot of time cleaning the inside of the engine but I didn't get all the dark color away. But I still got lot of old black junk away.
Because I was wainting for new pump, I started working on the interior. I disassembled the front seats and cahnged the broken and rusty parts for better ones.
then the rear parcel tray looked awful so i had to do something for it.
I filled the speaker holes with fiberglass and also did some fixing for door panel.
And ready.
Then door panels in place.
Also the carpet needed some cleaning. I used the pressure washer for this.
There was also some paint.
And all cleaned and in place.
Finally the front seats.
I still need to do some wiring before I can assemble the rest of the interior.

I bought used oilpump from friend and mounted it. e34 oilpick also installed to pump.
Everything is tightened so time to install e34 oilpan.
Cleaned and checked VANOS unit and after installing that i could set the cams.
And cover on.
Everything ready to be dropped in.
After some wiggling it's in.
Test fitted the turbo and manifold. Needs some work but it's doable.
Brakes assembled.
Front brakes installed.
Gear selector installed. Also made cups for the rubber bushings to keep the engine from moving too much.
Then all the other stuff underneath.
Then fitting the wheels. No problem in front.
Back was tighter. Had to make notch to the trailing arm.
Fits!
Some adjustment so that tires wont rub.
Good enough.
voilà!
I have to adjust height more but otherwise it's ok. Next thing is to get engine running.

Thanks for the comments!
I made some room for the exhaust manifold, so it wont hit anything when engine moves.
Then some work with engine wiring harness. Starting point is the harness which came with the engine. its from right hand drive e36 328 automatic. In this pic I have already removed the wiring for transmission.
Edited the loom for coils so that all wires are hidden.
Swapped the e36 connector to e30 one.
I only needed to add wire for fuel pump in the chassis side. (because the thing had carburetor originally.)
Ready!
All the stuff that I got rid of.
I got most of the stuff done for the engine. I only need to do the exhaust side.
