  • Golf 3 R32 DSG

I bought the car like this, the engine run without oil at the previous owner and needed a swap

2 years ago i bought these mirrors

    some interior updates

After that it was time to respay the car, because of a lot of problems with the paint

After that the car was ready for worthersee 2012

in Worthersee Austria i've got serious problems with the engine.
it started to use oil, and a lot of black smoke coming out the exhaust.
After rebuilding the vr6 engine i found a mk5 R32 engine for a really nice price.
so sold the vr6 engine and bought the R32 engine.
One thing i liked about the R32 is the DSG gearbox
So i made the choise to build in the dsg gearbox as well.

    the first testfit

I really like black engine's so the next step was painting/powdercoating

    Time for some new mirrors

Testfitted a set of 18" rs-gt's, but just was not my thing.

after looking a long time i found a set of center from Rotiform, the TMB model
    And i created this.

You make it look so easy. "So I bought this car with a broken engine, and I was having this set of mirrors and a Recaro interior laying around, I sprayed it the next day and then I put a VR6 in it but it got broken down the road so I just replaced it with an R32 engine. Ohhh and after I refused some rare BBS RS-GT because they were just not my thing I built some sick one-off wheels using Rotiform centers. Ohhh and since I was there, I bagged it using Airlift hardware"

Dude, where do you live and what do you do for a living? I want to move tomorrow )

            Hi

very clean setup you got there. Love the looking with the clean bumper and the vento lights, best look on mk3 imho. Is it an Awd Golf?
Tut DAS denn Not, dass der Karren so tief is?

I live in the Netherlands Daniel, work in the lithography world .

But it took me 6 months to finish this?
little time but i made it work.
The R32 part is not difficult, the DSG part is a little bit different.
                Especially making the speedo work

Deffo want to see some interior shots. I always love a good MK3 but the fact that it has a R32 motor is even better.
                        E34 build, Futuras included.

                          i don't have any interior shot's yet.
the DSG shifter needs some finishing. And it's not working perfectly yet.
New shifter and old type of gearbox. i've bought a shifter from a audi TT.
When that one is in place i will make a couple of pictures
