The sheer fitment of this car is absolutely insane, I applaud you. I'm personally not a big fan of the steelies (style wise, the specs are dead on) and I'm optimistic on your new wheel choice. Rarely anyone on US soil can fight a Civic that tight static.

I LOVE how this thing sits! So much respect for the fabrication that you got into, also the simplicity of the car. I can't wait to see more updates on this!

In some countries/ and or states (stupid washington) it is required to have a front license plate and it completely ruins the lines on the front end. So the beauty of pop up plates is that you can still drive the car legally and when attending a show (or just parking) you can pull the plate down and not hide the lines of the car. Also you can shave and fill the stupid license plate mounting holes too.

Yeah im tracking that, i've lived in NYC and now Texas, both states that require the use of the front plate. I guess I just dont like the look of the pop up plates regardless. I'd rather mount a tow hook plate and take it off when i please. Again, just my .02

No issues here with me, just pointing out the positives. Also I guess you could do a tow hook mounted plate as well. To each there own I guess. both the tow hook mounted plate and pop up plate are still better that the stock bracket on the bumper. (and both are bad ass)

How are the shortened front end suspension pieces holding up? I want to do the same for my hatch but it makes me a little nervous

Perfectly fine, all comes down to how well the cut/weld has been done..

Am I wrong that it's just cut weld put back on car? Cutting is easy with grinder or band saw, find a good welder and done!
