Turns out my rear spindles where thrashed, Found a deal on some control arms with everything attached and bought them. Going to swap spindles out and get on with it. Set backs suck!!!! Anyways, I took the down time and played with those camber plates. A little cutting was needed, But love the amount of adjustment they offer. Great purchase for the platform!

Drilled the spot weld holding factory mounting cups on the under side, Then played connect the dots.

Rough cuts and test fit. Megusta!

Used a file to final shape the cuts and clean the edges, No more hexigon shape.

        More updates to come!

          Test fit some stuff.

Need to adjust a few pieces still. The new control arms/ Spindles showed up. They are in the shop getting parts swapped over onto the old ones with the dual calipers. Hope to have them back over the weekend so I can get the rear wheels fitted and have the car on all fours.

Engine/Trans mounts came in last week. Look to be good quality.

And the bay is painted, ended up spraying with Rustoleum since I want to chop and tube the front some day. Wet sand and buff goes a long way! A few tiger stripes, but expected that. Fire wall is wrapped in DEI heat resistant material, Fiber glass backed with foil front. Rated to shield 400 degree temps. Should help keep the cabin cool.

Suspension is back under, Repainted the sub frame and cleaned it up a tad.

Damm this build is sick, I am still debating on what type of cage I want as well as steering angle. The more I see your build I want to just do it and never look back. This GTO is going to be a beast when its all done.

Got the clutch back in and the T56 muscled back into the car. That was a fun time! Cooling parts started showing up the day after I ordered them, Summit Racing moves fast!!!

                          Nice.
I'm surprised, given the ubiquity of these cars in Australia and the massive aftermarket in the US, that more aren't made into drift/circuit spec. Very interested to see where you end up with this
(please say "twin turbo" and "widebody" )

Absolutely plan to go wide, No turbo however. As much as I like the idea of boost I think I would run a big ole' Maggie roots blower if anything, More usable torque. Ill probably just stay NA for a ling time though.

Hopefully starting a new job soon with better pay and hours! I'm going to take a few weeks off from this thing and start planning out all the plumbing work. -AN fittings for all the new oil lines, power steering lines ex. Also looking into ditching the rewired factory harness and pcm and going with a nice after market EMS. Holley products are looking better and better. Maybe throw in a matching digital display.Time will tell! I put the wheels on and put her on back on the ground last night, Can't get my jack out from underneath of the front though lols.
