Wasn´t here for a long time so Time to update a bit.

First i bought a Set new Ball Joints to get a bit more Camber in the Front should be about 5 - 5.5° when they are mounted

Polished 3 of 4 Barrels the last one will be done next week i think. Have time for that won´t get the Wheels back before March cause they are still @ the Powdercoater an i won´t mount them before March.

Time to do something else always wanted to do some stuff with Carbon so i sorted my stuff and started with some old Carbon fabric off 200g an started. Not bad for the first try but the Look wasn´t my style.

So bought some new Fibre with 245g looks way better and made some parts.

In some free Time i used the Golf to get a new locker to my place for all the tools.

Yesterday i started sanding the first parts gave them just a quick sanding an polished them to see how they look. Worked out way better with the new Fibre.

      So long

Next Updates will come in a few weeks i think

Lips are getting ready step by step

Sanded up to 2000 wet the started polishing. Used my Makita with a hard Pad an Menzerna 400. Next step was a very soft pad with Ecromal came out pretty nice.

          First step:

          Finish after Ecromal:

Spring is around the corner! Can't wait to see your new wheels mounted. Have you changed anything around with the air setup? I haven't seen any pictures of it..

Waiting for the Parts for the Air Setup will mount 4 Times 5/3 Way Valves from Festo with copper Hardlines i think.

Will all stay very ordinary and mostly coverd. Maybe the Tank will get a bit color and a second Viair gets in

              Thats how it lok atm

Will mount the Gauge a bit lower cause i can´t realy close the Ashtray atm. Will build something with metal to get it one level with the rest of the cover.

Would love to use an Autopilot or an Accu Air but this is not allowed in Germany so i would have to dismount it the get true the TÜV all 2 Years so i just stay with the switches

Started with the 2nd Barrel yesterday and finished it.

First Step sanded with 2000 Grid wet:

Then polished with Menzerna 400 you see that milky shine it left but 95% of the scratches are gone

                    Finished with Ecromal:

Then I started polishing the Hump was in pretty bad shape and had many marks from production so i sanded it down to have an nice smooth surface and polished it up

                    Before:

                    After:

                    More following next days.

Barrels done and brought them the my buddy to mount everything.

Ordered new stainless screws cause they were pretty cheap couldn´t resist

Have 148 M7x32 Screws for sale now not new but in pretty good condition if someone is interested..

Then did some Carbon again but it is way to cold in the Barn so i will start again when Spring is comming up.

First Part is not bad but still not perfect.

Still waiting for the wheels so i started another little project. Ordered some new license Plates to match them to the US Rear Bumper. Bought a rear Bumper for 100 bucks.

New License Plate fits in pretty nice.

I didn´t like the lower plastic part from the bumper so i decided to cut my old Bumper an make 1 of 2

                              Cut the US first

Screwed it in my old german Bumper

Glued everything togehter with 2k glue. The used some Plasticfiller to get a smooth surface.

Needs some mor filler then it will get primered an than the Paint can come.

I had a bit free time during this so im mounted my freinds 17th with 245/35 wheels came out pretty cool maybe i can get a set of it for winter next year. Wheel Specs are 10x17 Offset 35
