I used to have a tornado red mk2 like your Jetta, I miss that too. Good luck with your 20vt converison man, that'll be awesome! I'd love to do a conversion like that myself, but i just have no idea what I'm doing with the wiring side of things :S . I'll probly end up sticking a 16v KR on bike carb's in mine

keep interior standard! If anything add a Momo team.... my mate owned one with the 280mm and it just suited the mk2 to a T!

I know the wheel you mean, that would look nice! Or perhaps a wooden Nardi deep corn?

I had some spare time this afternoon at work so jumped on a lathe for the first time in a year and had a go at making a billet aluminium gear knob. I ran out of time to polish it with autosol on the lathe, so I had to part it off and will do it by hand. Here's how it looks for now, it's obviously a bit more weighted than the standard plastic one, so it has a really nice feel to it when shifting.

Looks like a great start, keeping that oem interior is a must except swapping that wheel out like you mentioned.

Thanks, it's got a long way to go but I feel its going in the right direction I have decided the standard interior is staying, its too nice to strip out. Need to save up for a classy wooden Nardi to finish it off!

I'll be at players classic for sure, it was great last year!
I got the ticket that allows you to be parked around the circuit somewhere, (although my golf obviously isn't in the main show) so I'll probably bump into you at some point
I've got my work cut out to make the golf look even half presentable in time, I had plans to have new wings by now and have my bonnet painted but funds ran dry..
