I have a small update too, I've finally got round to buying the Nardi steering wheel that I've wanted for about two years now! It's every bit as nice as I'd hoped, maybe too plush for the rotbox though

Terrible photo, but I bought some new wheels for the mk2 today. I said I wouldn't get BBS's again, and I'd get something a bit different, buuuttt...
I picked up these BBS Rs's. They are currently 15" x 8j (2" dishes) et24. Professionally welded and re-drilled to 4x100. Width's and offset are perfect for up front, but I'm looking to go a little wider on the rears!
They need a good clean so proper photo's will follow! My '88 Golf GTI - http://www.stanceworks.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=59460

I **** the sealant on them. Took me ages to get rid of mine when replacing my wings. -.-My '88 Golf GTI - http://www.stanceworks.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=59460

I decided to pull the trigger and fit the BBS's. I was going to wait till after winter but I figured I'd just enjoy them, and spend time bringing the lips back to life next year..
The fitment is way off what I'm going for. I would like to run 185 45's instead of 195 45's. Also I would like to space them out 15mm to et10 all round (Rears currently have 25mm spacers and none up front). It got dark then I realised I only have one picture of them on, but proper pictures will follow once I've achieved better fitmentJust ordered a centre cap spanner so that'll arrive on monday

I took a few photo's of the Mk2 today. I had to wind the rear coilovers up a few threads as the rear wheels rubbed really badly once I had more than £10's worth of petrol and a passenger in the carSo fitment wise it looks even worse than when I first threw the wheels on the car. When I've got a bit of spare time and money over Christmas I hope to get things moving though, I know the look I'm trying to achieve now anyway. Just got to make it happen!
