Hello, I'm William. Here's my '97 s10 pickup.

Day of Delivery

4.3l auto, ZQ8 sport suspension(1.5/2 inch factory drop), ~150k, misfire, terrible body and paint, bad door pin bushings, cruddy wheels and stance.

Time to fix! See the problem?

New injector system on left, old obviously the other left

Luckily the PO tried doing a full tuneup to fix the misfire, so all the ignition parts were new! Score!

Couldn't not stance anymore so...

17x9 cragar soft 8's, and 245/45 nitto motivos.

original 4x6 headlights were going to get me killed at night so...

this happened, composite blazer swap, and just cut and painted original grill to fit for the time being.

Time for spacers!

followed by valence of first gen s10, and gmc jimmy hood.


Then MOAR LOWS!

Beltech 2 inch blazer drop spindles and 2 inch blocks in the rear. This was right after the drop and I tried to make it to firestone to align it, but they had no one who knew how to do alignments, I offered to teach someone how, but still no go. Oh well, they're loss. Thank goodness for my bestfriend Pejsa, with his fancy trailer. He towed me back to my house and we just did a trailer alignment.

This is my daily, but future plans are to get sideways as fnck! Next to the crazy Lex/san purple people eater most of you are probably aware of here. I'll be doing small things until i finish my other project, an 6.0l vortec swapped 89 s10 blazer. Feel free to share your thoughts

Thanks guys! I appreciate the kind words! She's at a 3.5f/4r inch drop right now, with 2.5 inch spacers all the way around. It rubs while turning, so I got some 1.5 spacers waiting for me a home. Eventually she'll get a 4 link, panhard, coilover combo in the rear, and lengthened control arms in the front also on coilovers. If I decide to go lower, I think I'm just gonna body drop it because seeing the frame under the body from the side bothers me. I'm also going to 5 speed swap it, possibly swap in a 5.7 sbc, or go ls/vortec with t56 if funds allow.

I travel a lot for work so I don't get as much time with my "babies" as I'd like, so bear with me.

Ha! I used to have a '97 Blazer that was the same exact color. The front end swap looks 100% better than the original pieces.

build thread here it hasn't been updated in over a year, I lost interest in that forum and thread, and haven't gotten much done since then.

Airing out my family dirty laundry, but my brother had a real bad heroine addiction, he stole and pawned all my tools and some of my parts for my blazer. I was recently able to get most of them back, but some are gone forever. I travel a lot for work and am gone for weeks at a time so he was able to clear me out pretty good before I realized what was up, I'd spend soo much time looking through all my drawers and boxes trying to find a tool that I'd never find. It's in my mom's garage, an I was living elsewhere. My lease recently ended and my mom needs help with her mortgage, so I'm back at home and will be in close proximity so I'm shooting for an end of summer finish. I post some updates here on this thread as well if you guys are interested.
