Loving it. Can't wait to see the final results!
It sucks that I have to leave it alone for a little while. I just dont have the time to get back in it for the next couple weeks. Plus, I need to get my shit together and buy a daily driver. walking 3 miles to work is too much for this fat old bald guy

    • I have a bike I'd be willing to donate to the cause. I won it in a raffle that no one else entered lol

            • Today after work I'll be attempting to make the car drivable. Im making a spacer to drop in the strut housing that I made. Hopefully that will raise the front enough where it is high enough to make a 3 mile drive home from where it sits. I'll be riding on struts, no springs, no bags up front. this should be fun. Then I have to take a time out from it and figure out it anything else went wrong lol

              • Really loving the custom work. Just a curioisty question, when you welded the front struts to the hubs, are the struts welded ontop or they pushed into the hub and then welded secure ensuring correct angle/alignment?

Unfortunately I dont have a good picture. The way I am running it is similar to the OEM insert. I had a sleeve welded onto the spindle, then the strut/bag assembly drops into that.

                      • Dave, jack it up and stick a piece of 2x4 in between the lower control arm and the frame. that way your not riding on the strut.

Havent pulled off the passenger side wheel off to inspect it yet. Already talked to Mike at AccuAir and Will at Bag Riders about all the replacement parts I need. Both are great guys. Im kinda broke right now, so it might be a week or so before I buy everything that I need and get back into the car.
