  • Dare to be Different

Hey guys, I'm Wes and I'm relatively new to the car scene. I started getting into cars about two years ago. Just a little bit after getting my first car.. A 2005 Pontiac G6. After realizing that my car had little to no aftermarket support i tried to get my dad to let me sell it. Almost 3 years later i still have it. Doing what hasn't be done.

I bought Megan Racing Saab 9-3 coilovers and modded them to fit.. I've been riding on stock wheels since.

I bought a set of 17x8 BBS RS's and started refinishing them. I got them powdercoated White and new lips are in the mail

Holy shit, you weren't kidding about different. Casual BBS RS for your first set of wheels too. In for this.

Dare to be different, and then running BBS? If there's one wheel that's overplayed and certainly not "different" it's any form of BBS RM/RS.

Like the car non the less.

Ever since I started liking cars I would always go to my best friend and ask him about questions I had. When I first saw the RS's I fell in love and I was told I would probably never have a set. So they have some sentimental value to me. I could have saved up some more and bought some Work Emits or something. But I would much rather build up a set of wheels that's I've always loved. Thanks for the reply though

So I got my new (to me) 1" lips. They are all Original BBS 1" lips. But the valve stem holes are bigger than my .5" lips? And one of the 1" lips have the same hole as my .5" lip?

I'm starting to strip and polish them tonight.

Here's a picture off of Instagram that my friend took of where the wheel sits with the new lips.

I've been trying to convince my dad to let me bag his 08' G6 GT Coupe for the longest time but always a solid no. Definitely can't wait to see the outcome of this!
