  • MX5 NB8 First rwd.

Got my mx5 few months ago.
After having a Lupo for 4 years, it's a bit of a change.
Always wanted a mx5 nb, now I have one!

    How I got it:

    Home made number plate bracket.

    Coilovers bought.

    Coilovers and MX5Parts backbox fitted.

Fitted a new arb drop link.
What was left of the old one:

    Painted the wheels and callipers.

    Clip of the exhaust sound.

Painted the side reflectors to match the car.

New wheels! (yes I know, they're "fakes". You find me a set of ssr mesh wheels in the right sizes.)

    Space for more low

That's how she stands right now.
    Plans are:
Boss to fit my Personal steering wheel
    Front lip
    Side splitters
    rear diffuser
    duckbill spoiler
    hardtop spoiler.

    Hope people like.

Take the paint off of the side markers and go a bit lower.

Car looks pretty good overall, how do you like RWD?

The painted reflectors makes it look soo much better imo.
Front lip and other "aero" stuff are in the works and it'll be going lower as soon as I have a some time when it's not bloody raining.

Rwd is fun. I may have had a bit of fun coming off of roundabouts with it.

So I lowered it some more. Front mud flaps had to come off, acting as road sweepers.

Looks good man! Tires look a tad small tho imo. Tbh I don't even think there are SSR mesh in 4x100 :/ If there are they are stupid rare.

Fitted side splitters and my steering wheel this week. Also have a front lip waiting to be fitted and a Racing beat manifold on its way.

Front lip fitted. Took all of 30 mins. Very easy to fit and well made part, lined up perfectly straight out of the box.

Just need to sort the holes in the front bumper now.

                        Quick update:
                        Broke the green one.
Got another one, took all the good bits off and am in the process of putting them on the new one.
                        Curently have this:

                        Racingbeat 4-1 manifold

Leather seats and Personal steering wheel in.

Just need to get some paint to re do the front lip and hard top.

Pretty sure the oil rings have given up, seems to be pretty common on mk2 mx5s.
                              It now belches oil.
